Foundry Field Recordings — On the road

besides your usual check list of gear, bedding items and bathroom necessities, it most important to keep the vehicle in fine shape. with skyrocketing gas prices (they always seem to hit record highs when we tour) we have very little money and time to handle even the smallest of vehicle problems. we were unfortunate enough to have to deal with trailer light wires dragging on the highway, as well as a jagged piece of metal in our rear left tire. all was not lost benjamin provided some crafty repair work to the trailer wires and the tire got patched up. as far as the tour goes, we are having fun to say the least we've had a lot of support from friends and various media outlets as well. we awoke to a nice mention from Brooklyn Vegan We have a good two weeks left for this run of shows, thank you to all of our friends in Lawrence, Minneapolis, Madison, Chicago, Bloomington, and Nashville for housing our road worn bodies....

We are also excited to announce that we will be playing the CMJ Festival in New York City this year and we will keep you posted about the shows leading up to our showcase. For the time being we have added two Columbia shows, Friday Sept. 29 with our label mates Ellie Come Home (their album will be out 10/24), and we will be opening for Tapes n' Tapes on Thursday Oct. 19. Both shows will be at Mojo's...
