Foundry Field Recordings — Recording and CMJ festival

Posted bv: Billy on 09/10/06
Well this post is long overdue but we would like to thank everyone who came out to the shows in August, as well as those that housed our road worn bones. We had a great time and we are now back safe and sound in Columbia.

We would also like to express our complete and utter sadness over the void that will be left by WOXY.com. We were lucky enough to be a lounge act in late August, and honestly had no clue what was going to happen. The DJs, the station and the fans are all wonderful, and we can only hope someone can bail them out. We will miss them dearly!

We have jumped back into the studio with Barry Hibdon and are currently laying down demo tracks for the next full length as well as putting some finishing touches on an EP set to release sometime in 2007.

We are also excited to announce that we will be playing the CMJ Festival in New York City this year and we will keep you posted about the shows leading up to our showcase. For the time being we have added two Columbia shows, Friday Sept. 29 with our label mates Ellie Come Home (their album will be out 10/24), and we will be opening for Tapes n' Tapes on Thursday Oct. 19. Both shows will be at Mojo's...
